Our client is a well-established company based in the Padua area, founded in the 1980s out of its founder’s passion for equipment in the foodservice industry. Today, the company employs around 50 people and designs, manufactures, and distributes Made in Italy products worldwide. Combining tradition with innovation and sustainability, it offers a wide range of high-quality products using advanced technologies and premium materials.
To support the growth of the export team, we are looking for an Export Area Manager.
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships in the Middle East, North Africa, and Francophone markets such as Belgium and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop target markets by identifying and establishing partnerships with dealers or direct clients
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships in the assigned areas
- Ensure achievement of revenue and margin targets
- Lead commercial negotiations with potential customers
- Handle and renegotiate existing client relationships
- Organize and participate in trade fairs and industry events, including co-branded initiatives
- Identify new clients through follow-ups and development of a new customer portfolio
Requirements:
- At least 3–4 years of experience as an Area Manager in a B2B company
- Excellent knowledge of English and French; Arabic is a plus
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time

What the company offers:
- Permanent contract (Metalworking Industry National Collective Agreement)
- Gross annual salary up to €55,000–€60,000, based on technical and soft skills evaluated during the selection process
- Performance-based bonus (MBO)
- Working hours: 08:30 – 17:30 with a one-hour lunch break and flexible start time with end-of-day adjustment
